초창기부터 지금까지도 꾸준히 사랑받는
베이스라인으로 제작된 중청 데님입니다.
지금은 슬로우앤드에서 투데이라인이
가장 사랑받는 대표적인 시리즈가 되었지만,
지금으로부터 3-4년 전에는 베이스라인이
가장 '기본에 충실한' 데님으로 사랑받았다는 것
단골 고객분들은 기억하고 계실것 같아요 :D
어떤 핏일까요?
슬앤에서 5년째 보여드리고 있는 베이스 라인은
소재감이나 색감은 모두 조금씩 다르게 변형하지만
기본적인 핏의 목표가 동일합니다.
서구적인 체형에만 어울리는 바지 X
동양인의 체형에 부드럽게 어울리는 바지 O
가장 살이 몰리는 부분. '힙, 허벅지' 구간이
타이트하게 조이기보단 여유 있게 떨어져서
허벅지, 승마살까지 편안하게 커버하고
발목으로 내려오는 구간은 조금씩 좁아져
전체적인 실루엣이 깔끔하고 담백한 데님이에요.
안 어울리는 상의가 딱히 없고
코디할 때 유용하다는 게 가장 큰 장점입니다.
(슬앤의 베이스 라인을 꾸준히 찾아주신
고객님들은 이제 이 설명을 잘 알고 계시죠 *.*)
이번 하우스앤드를 오픈하면서
새로운 디자인, 유행을 시도하기보다는
본래 슬앤의 색과 초창기의 마음을 되짚어 보는
시간에 더 집중하게 되었던 것 같아요.
그래서 청량한 듯 차분한 중청 데님에
가장 기본이 되는 베이스핏을 입혔습니다.
소재는 더 탄탄한 원단으로 업그레이드 했구요!
가격대가 살짝 오르더라도 소장가치 있는 웰메이드 데님을
하우스앤드 컬렉션으로 보여드리고 싶었어요 :D
허리 뒷부분도 밋밋하지 않게,
다크브라운 레더탭을 달아 포인트를 더했어요!
너무 파란 중청보다는
안개 필터 씌운 듯 은은한 색감을 좋아해요.
이번 데님 색감도 참 예쁘죠 :)
딥한 블루컬러의 난스판 원단에 여러 차례 워싱을 가공해
은은하게 느껴지는 슬랍 결감에
차분하고 딥한 컬러감이 완성됩니다.
입으면서 자연스럽게 올라오는 옐로우틴으로
빈티지하면서도, 시간이 지날수록
멋스러워질 색감이 기대되는 데님이에요!
너무 두껍거나 텁텁하지 않도록,
난스판 원단 중에서도 지금 시즌에 맞게
적당히 톡톡하고 원단을 사용했어요.
그래서 손으로 만져볼 때에는 빳빳함X, 유연하지만
실제로 입어보면 후들한 느낌 없이
똑 - 떨어지는 깔끔한 핏을 느껴보실 수 있습니다.
그래서인지 정말 많은 코디에 함께했는데요!
셔츠에, 니트에, 자켓에, 슬리브리스에 -
정말 다양한 상의에 자연스레 어울려줄 핏이에요.
밝게 뜨지도, 다크하지도 않은 중청톤이라
코디가 더 쉽게 되는 것도 한 몫 했답니다 :D
제작 린넨자켓과 슬리브리스까지 전부 메바슬!

분명 긴팔 자켓 + 긴 바지인데도
더워 보이지 않은 이유는
여름에도 입을 수 있게, 텁텁하지 않은
소재들이 모였기 때문일 거예요 :)
그 다음은 캐쥬얼한 여름 니트들과 입기.
니트에 색감이나 패턴이 뚜렷해도
묵직한 중청톤이 차분하게 잡아주는 느낌이라
코디할 수 있는 상의 스펙트럼이
확 - 넓어지는 느낌을 받을 수 있었어요!
블라우스에 하객룩, 데이트룩 등등
그날그날의 분위기나 취향에 따라
얼마든지 깔끔하게도 매치하실 수 있지요 :)
너무 와이드한 핏이었다면
캐쥬얼한 룩에 국한되었을 수 있지만,
단정&깔끔한 베이스핏이기에
격식을 차려야 하는 자리에서도 아쉽지 않더라구요!
시간대별, 그리고 장소와 조명에 따라
오묘하게 달라지는 톤과 분위기.
너무 푸르지 않은 청록빛 중청으로
소장가치 있게 완성된 슬앤만의 색감이에요.
바지가 너무 새파랗게 동동 뜰까 봐

아래로 갈수록 살짝만 좁아지는 일자핏
허벅지부터 종아리까지 싹 커버하는 베이스핏이에요
투데이 라인에 비해 단정한 실루엣에
다리라인을 쫀쫀하게 잡아주는 토즈 라인과 다르게
어느 정도 여유 있게 품이 남아 핏이 깔끔합니다.
(탄탄한 난스판이지만 착용감이 갑갑하지 않은 이유!)
