이 데님은 제가 슬앤에서 제작한 바지를 통틀어
가장 많이 입었다고 자부할만큼 질리도록 입은 제품입니다.
(그런데 심지어 아직도 안 질렸어요..허헣
가을 준비하면서 제일 먼저 꺼내두었지요!)
지난 가을, 첫번째 주자로 정해서
더운 여름부터 핏과 색감을 세심히 수정하며
오래 준비해온 제작데님이에요.
하나만 일주일 내내 돌려입을 수 있다면
망설임 없이 뽑고 싶은 바지,
베이스 차콜워싱 데님입니다.
나름 오랜 무채색 덕후 경력으로..*.*
차콜 베이스에 오묘하게 네이비 빛도 감돌고
실내에선 브라운 빛도 감돌게 보이는
이런 데님이 꼭 필요하다고 늘 느껴왔어요!
시중에 정직한 흑청은 많은데
이렇게 오묘한 톤은 없어서 직접 제작하게 되었습니다.

따뜻한 조명 아래에선 브라운 빛이 감돌다가
흑청과 비슷한 차콜 데님인가? 싶다가,
장소나 시간에 따라 푸른 빛도 감돌게 오묘한 색감
그래서 사실, 베이지나 무채색, 저채도 계열은
당연히 어울릴 거란 걸 알고 있었는데..
신기할 정도로 블루계열, 파스텔톤, 뮤트톤까지도 잘 어울려서
블랙보다 차콜이 유용한데? 라고 느낄 수 있었어요.

적당히 올라온 반하이웨스트로 다리는 더욱 길게 -
아래로 갈수록 살짝만 좁아지는 일자핏으로
허벅지 군살, 종아리알을 싹 커버하는 베이스핏이에요
기존 베이스 라인보다 밑위를 살짝 수정해
전체적인 핏이 덜 벙벙해 보이도록 조정했답니다.
(수치상으론 크게 차이나지 않지만
조금 더 깔끔하고 세련된 핏이 특징이에요!)
롤업을 하지 않을 경우 각도에 따라
미세한 세미부츠컷으로 보일 수 있지만
끝단은 정직한 일자핏입니다.
움직일 때도 일자핏 깔끔한 데님으로 보인답니다.
롤업을 하는 경우 끝단이 동그랗게 모이면서
봉봉한 세미보이핏의 느낌을 살려줍니다.
저희는 데님을 롤업해 발목이 보이게 해서
스니커즈와 매치하는 것도 추천드리고 싶어요!
